Our History
Over 60 years ago a group of Baptists came together looking for a better way to handle their finances. With the help of the Missouri Credit Union League, The Missouri Baptist Credit Union was soon formed and a State Charter was approved in April of 1963. MBCU has now grown into a full-service financial institution ready to serve the Baptist Community.
Membership Eligibility
Membership eligibility to join Missouri Credit Union includes the following:
Employees of the entities, institutions, churches, and associations affiliated with or who have a historical relationship with the Missouri Baptist Convention; Employees of the Missouri Baptist Convention; and also to members of Churches and Associations located within the State of Missouri and affiliated with or who have a historical relationship with the Missouri Baptist Convention; Immediate and extended families of members of the Missouri Baptist Credit Union who herein meet eligibility based one or more of the said qualifications. The definition of immediate and extended families includes spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, first cousin, or legal guardian.
